Understanding climate change and its impacts is necessary for corporations to understand why management actions should be undertaken to mitigate the negative effects of business on the climate.
However, applying management techniques is not the job of one sector alone, but rather the cooperation and collaboration of different agencies, corporations, and pillars of society is necessary. With this in mind, governments in most countries have adopted public policies to decarbonize the economy, policies that directly affect business.
This carbon disclosure training provides lectures and several case studies to help you fully understand corporate carbon risks and identify government approaches to decarbonize the economy. Practical examples and exercises are also embedded throughout the course to help you learn how to compute, evaluate, and manage risks.
